Why do we all pretend like you were never there for us,

We disregard all of your love we all misuse your trust;

I find it harder everyday to look into your eyes,

But when I do I’m not confused I finally realize;

When I wrote this song, I was listening to my mom and my sister Jenn fight. I thought about all the shit that my mom (not to mention everyone’s mom) does for their kids. Then I thought about all the shit we do to repay them for everything good they have given us. So I wrote about it, they trust us and we break their trust by: stealing cars, smokin’ weed, getting into fights, drinking, etc. Then we always ask the question, even if you don’t say it to them, you say it in your head. That question is “Do you love me”. Hey guys, you don’t know what you have until it’s gone… CHERISH IT!
